History Museum of Mobile: Learning Lunch featuring John Sledge, “Mobile and Havana: Sisters Across the Gulf.”

The History Museum of Mobile’s upcoming Learning Lunch Program is on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 12pm and will feature John Sledge, Maritime Historian-in-Residence at the National Maritime Museum of the Gulf of Mexico. The topic of his presentation is Mobile and Havana: Sisters Across the Gulf.

Mr. Sledge retired in 2024 after 38 years as an architectural historian with the Mobile Historic Development Commission. Sledge is the author o
